We Are Each Responsible for the Thoughts We Think. . .

"When you are in alignment with who-you-really-are, you cannot help but uplift those with whom you come into contact. Your value to those around you hinges upon only one thing: your personal alignment with Source. And the only thing you have to give to another is an example of that alignment—which they may observe, then desire, and then work to achieve—but you cannot give it to them. Everyone is responsible for the thoughts they think and the things that they choose as their objects of attention."

Another amazing and wonderful quote from Abraham-Hicks. This one speaks deeply to me, for I still carry the belief that to do something for someone else is more important and better than doing it for myself. This leads me into a conflicting place quite frequently, as the only perspective I can know is my own, and the only motivation that I ever really have it to feel good myself (as is true of all of us). Having things phrased in this way, "Your value to those around you hinges upon only one thing: your personal alignment with Source," creates the opportunity for me to do it both to feel better, AND for others. And, the little voices in my head that are less-kind to me than I would be to anyone, are happy (and they are, daily, losing ground as well!).

I quit complaining!

Rather Than Complaining, I'll Focus On Positive Aspects. . .

When you focus upon lack in an attitude of complaining, you establish a vibrational point of attraction that then gives you access only to more thoughts of complaint. Your deliberate effort to tell a new story will establish a new pattern of thought, providing you with a new point of attraction from your present, about your past, and into your future. The simple effort of looking for positive aspects will set a new vibrational tone that will begin the immediate attraction of thoughts, people, circumstances, and things that are pleasing to you.

Above is another of a series of powerful quotes from Abraham’s newest book, Money and the Law of Attraction… Learning to Attract Wealth, Health and Happiness. It will be available for worldwide delivery on August 12, 2008. .

I actually did an experiment last week where I decided not to complain for a whole day - I think it was barely an hour before I had typed something into Plurk (an online social/networking website) that, if it wasn't complaining, was very close. It's amazing how we don't even realize all the little things that are part of our daily output into the world. I am committed to changing this for myself, and I challenge anyone who's willing to do the same - just try it for a day - you'll be amazed at how difficult it can be! :-)

The Physical Me Is Materialized Spirit. . .

Some say that you should not want money at all because the desire for money is materialistic and not Spiritual. But we want you to remember that you are here in this very physical world where Spirit has materialized. You cannot separate yourself from the aspect of yourself that is Spiritual, and while you are here in these bodies, you cannot separate yourselves from that which is physical or material. All of the magnificent things of a physical nature that are surrounding you are Spiritual in nature.

Above is another of a series of powerful quotes that we plan to email to you from Abraham’s newest (and we think greatest) book, Money and the Law of Attraction… Learning to Attract Wealth, Health and Happiness. It will be available for worldwide delivery on August 12, 2008. Please enjoy this powerful quote and watch for more.

Well-Being and Abundance

The inspiration I have drawn from Abraham-Hicks has been tremendous. To remind myself of the eternal truths and teachings I'm finding there I created this necklace, representing the eternal stream of well-being and abundance that is flowing in and through our lives. There is only one stream in the universe - the stream of abundance and well-being - we are either resisting that stream or allowing that stream. Using powerful words and phrases like this is helping me to use the Law of Attraction to transform my life.

For more information you can visit my website at: www.transformationaljewelry.com

Transformation in New York City

I was walking home last night - across town through Central Park. When I came out on East85th St and headed toward Madison Ave I saw what is pictured here. It is an awesome sight - the quantity of trash produced in this town...as I walked block after block each one looked basically the same as this. What really struck me here though - is that it was more than 2/3rds recycling! A round of applause for NYC and New Yorkers!

While it is likely that there is only one recycling pick up per week, and there are probably two or more garbage pickups I was still impressed. Block after block every pile - large or small - was more than 2/3rds recycling. The clear bags and blue bags are recyclable plastic, metal and glass - paper, magazines and boxes are stacked and tied separately. Only the black bags are 'trash'. It's quite a beautiful sight really.

In this picture there is so much recycling you can't even see the black trash bags - which are all the way to the left and partially hidden by the cut-off car. The first picture and this one are of the same piles - the middle picture is a different/smaller building's pile.
