Phoenix...Yuma...San Diego
Photos by Payson Cooper. All rights reserved.I posted on another blog a while back about a day when the word 'Yuma' came into my awareness about 6 times in the matter of a couple of hours or 1/2 a day. It was an 'A-Ha' moment for me. In listening to Abraham-Hicks' material over the last year+ I have heard them us the analogy of driving from Phoenix to San Diego on several occasions. The analogy basically says that Esther and Jerry used to drive from Phoenix to San Diego on a regular basis, they used a map and would drive through the desert and go past Yuma. If we associate that drive with our path to manifestation of something that we desire, Phoenix would be the beginning of the desire and San Diego would be the manifestation of it. Yuma would be a point somewhere in the middle, where we might not know exactly where we are, we might not be seeing any signs of 'San Diego' (manifestation), but that doesn't mean we have not made progress on our journey.
It seems that by 'taking stock' of where we are during a manifestational journey, as though looking around in 'Yuma' and saying, "Hmm. Nothing here looks like San Diego. What's going on? Why am I not there yet?" can cause us to mistakenly turn around and go back to Phoenix - our thinking about 'not' getting where we want to go is like going back and forth between Phoenix and Yuma, never reaching our final destination because we can see signs of it on the way.
So, the day that I found 'Yuma' intertwined with my awareness it occurred to me that the universe was letting me know that I'm in 'Yuma'! I'm on my way and I don't need to worry, just trust the path and let it lead me. Then, a short time later, I quite literally found my self in San Diego! The concept was not lost on me. :-) (San Deigo was my trip to Joe Vitale's Miracles weekend - where I also had the chance to share my jewelry - specifically the Expect Miracles Jewelry and the Ho'oponopono Jewelry.)
So, in celebration of 'arriving' in San Diego - here are a few images of the lovely beaches there - and the view from my friend's balcony.
Enjoy the journey - it's 90% of the fun!

One of the Contest Winners!

One of my most recent passions has been building relationships and playing on the social networking site Plurk. (If you haven't checked it out, please do - you can see my page here: PaysonJewelry). A couple of months ago on a Saturday afternoon I felt inspired to create jewelry from the Plurk Buddy critters that you can choose to adorn your plurk pages. After receiving permission from the company, I started sharing the Plurk Buddy Jewelry collection on Etsy.com. And, about 2 weeks ago Plurk announced they were running a contest for most creative items created and inspired by plurk. Well - one of my jewelry buddies won!
